We got a lot of questions about our new simmons model ( aka born slippy). Why is it so short 5'0"? Can I surf it? Does it come in 6'0 and up?

We can answer these questions by comparing the outlines of the 'born slippy' and a hybrid shortboard. The 5'0 born slippy is the blue board, the 5'9 shortboard the red board. If we align the tail and then the nose areas you'll see the born slippy has a lot more width.
You'll also notice there is a lot less curve in the rail outline of the born slippy. Together with the keel fins and deep single concave troughout the tail this makes a fast and skatey board. Generating its own speed!
